Khairi Hamdi

Khairi Hamdi is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Electrical Engineering at The University of Manchester. His research interests include Performance Analysis of Wireless Communication Systems and Networks, Multiple-Access Protocols and Scheduling in Wireless Ad hoc Networks, Networking in the Unlicensed Frequency Bands, Cognitive Radio Networks, Interference Management and Coexistence in Wireless Networks, and Ultra Wideband Wireless Networks. His work contributes to Sustainable Development Goals 7 and 12. Dr. Hamdi holds a BSc, MSc, and PhD in Telecommunication Engineering and has held academic and research positions at the University of Manchester and the University of Essex.

Khairi A Hamdi is a researcher in Communication Engineering with a focus on wireless communication systems, interference analysis, and energy efficiency. His work explores fading channels, physical layer security, and resource allocation in heterogeneous networks. Hamdi's research includes the analysis of interference in Nakagami and Rayleigh fading environments, as well as the development of techniques for improving energy efficiency in cognitive radio and multi-antenna relaying networks. He has also investigated the performance of wireless OFDM systems with carrier frequency offset and the application of switched phased-array transmission for secure millimeter-wave communication. His contributions span both theoretical analysis and practical design in modern communication systems.
