Bruce Grieve

Bruce Grieve is a Chair in Agri Sensors and Electronics at The University of Manchester, Department of Electrical Engineering. He serves as Department Head of Research and School Deputy Head of Research for Impact and Outputs. His research focuses on sensor science, instrumentation, communications, and informatics with applications in agriculture and food supply. Prof Grieve manages the e-Agri Sensors Centre, which was launched in 2007 through a grant from Syngenta Ltd. His work addresses challenges in sustainable agriculture and food security, with a focus on developing innovative technologies for crop growth and biotechnology. He has led numerous research projects and has secured significant funding from industrial, governmental, and NGO sources.
