Zhengtao Ding

Prof. Zhengtao Ding is a Professor of Control Systems in the Department of Electrical Engineering at The University of Manchester. His research interests include nonlinear and adaptive control systems, distributed optimization and game theory, distributed machine learning, and control applications in robotics and power systems. He has published over 300 research papers and authored/co-authored three books, including 'Nonlinear and Adaptive Control Systems' published by IET in 2013. He is a Fellow of The Alan Turing Institute and serves as Editor-in-Chief for Drones and Autonomous Vehicles, and Specialty Chief Editor for Nonlinear Control for Frontiers in Control Engineering. He has also served as an associate editor for several journals, including IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control and IEEE Control Systems Letters.
