Emad Alsusa is a Professor of Communications and Signal Processing in the Department of Electrical Engineering at The University of Manchester. His research focuses on advanced communication systems, particularly in the areas of Physical, MAC, and Network Layers. His work includes array signal detection, channel estimation, adaptive signal precoding, and interference management. He has authored over 270 publications and supervised more than 30 Ph.D. students. Alsusa is a Senior Member of the IEEE and a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy. He has held leadership roles in IEEE conferences and has contributed to various industrial telecommunications consortia.
