Regular biography
Nicholas Weise is a Senior Lecturer in Chemistry at The University of Manchester, where he also holds a Senior Lectureship in eLearning. His work focuses on enhancing teaching and learning through innovative approaches, including media-rich materials, peer learning, and fostering a sense of community among learners. He serves as the Faculty of Biology Medicine & Health's Lead for Student Experience & Inclusion and Teaching & Learning Enhancement Lead for the Chemistry discipline. Weise is recognized for his contributions to education, including the Biochemical Society Teaching Excellence Award 2025, and his efforts in promoting inclusive and impactful science communication.
