Eric Mcinnes

Eric Mcinnes is a Professor of Inorganic Chemistry at The University of Manchester, affiliated with the Chemistry department. His research focuses on molecular magnetism, coordination chemistry, and inorganic synthesis, with particular emphasis on d- and f-block coordination compounds. His work explores magnetic properties and their applications in areas such as quantum information processing and refrigeration. He is Co-Director of the EPSRC-funded UK National EPR Facility and Service. His research group investigates synthetic coordination chemistry and collaborates with physicists for advanced characterization techniques. Mcinnes has contributed to numerous research outputs, including articles on molecular magnets and nanomaterials.
