Cinzia Casiraghi is a Professor in Nanoscience at The University of Manchester, School of Chemistry. Her research focuses on the application of Raman spectroscopy to carbon films, nanotubes, and graphene, with an emphasis on exploring new two-dimensional materials and their use in electronic devices and photovoltaics. She leads projects on ink-jet printable 2D-crystal inks for flexible and low-cost devices such as sensors and solar cells, many of which are industry-funded.
