Jack Wu

Jack Wu is a Lecturer in Civil Engineering at The University of Manchester. His research interests include thin-walled structures, fibre reinforced polymer composite structures, and 3-D FRP woven composites. He has contributed to studies on composite plate and shell structures, adhesive stresses in dissimilar composite adherends, and FRP/concrete hybrid structures. His work also involves fracture analysis of high performance structural composites and non-destructive testing. Wu has been involved in various research projects and has published in areas such as structural and fire engineering. His research aligns with several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, including Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, and Climate Action.
