Alice Larkin

Alice Larkin is a Professor in Climate Science & Energy Policy at The University of Manchester, School of Engineering, and Co-Director of the Sustainable Futures Platform. She is affiliated with the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research. Her research interests include shipping and aviation emissions, climate policy, and the water-food-energy nexus. She has led several research projects, including work on decarbonising shipping and aviation fuels, and has contributed to climate change mitigation pathways. Larkin has held leadership roles within the university, including Head of School and Vice-Dean. She is also an external member of the Clean Maritime Council and the Scientific Advisory Board of the University of Graz.
