Meini Su is a Senior Lecturer in Structural Engineering at the Department of Civil Engineering and Management, The University of Manchester. She is also the Theme lead (Living and Infrastructures) at the Thomas Ashton Institute for Risk and Regulatory Research. She joined the university in November 2017 and previously served as an assistant professor at Shenzhen University, China. Her research interests include structural testing, numerical modelling, and the development of design guidance for FRP strengthened RC structures in marine environments, as well as steel and aluminium alloy structures. She has co-authored one textbook and published over 80 papers. She is a Chartered engineer with the Institution of Civil Engineers and the Institution of Structural Engineers.
