Callum Kidd

Callum Kidd is a Chair in Engineering Management and Head of Department at the University of Manchester's School of Engineering. His research interests include Digital Twins and Digital Threads, PLM Infrastructure, Definition Data Structure, Configuration Management, and Project Management Education and Professional Development. He has worked with leading aerospace and defence organizations on configuration management and digital manufacturing infrastructure. Kidd has also been recognized by the Project Management Institute for his contributions to education in project management. He is currently involved in developing Knowledge Exchange Partnerships to integrate practice-based experience into academic programs. Additionally, he is a member of the NATO Lifecycle Management Standards Group and the Engineering Management Forum.
