Julien Harou

Professor Julien Harou is Chair in Water Engineering at The University of Manchester's Department of Civil Engineering. His research focuses on water resources planning and management, water-energy-food systems, and environmental management software. He has contributed to numerous global projects, including the UKRI-funded FutureDAMS initiative and the development of the www.waterstrategy.org portal. His work addresses sustainable development goals, with collaborations spanning institutions such as the World Bank, IUCN, and various governmental and non-governmental organizations.
