YAN, Min is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. His research interests include integrable systems, Hopf algebra, geometric topology, and combinatorics. He teaches MATH2043 Honors Mathematical Analysis. YAN, Min has published extensively in areas such as tilings of the sphere by congruent pentagons, fixed point sets, and combinatorial structures. His work includes contributions to the study of Euler characteristics, semi-free actions, and topological classifications. He has also authored several publications in journals such as the Journal of Geometry and Physics, Graphs and Combinatorics, and the Electronic Journal of Combinatorics.
