WU, Li-Xin is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. His research interests include numerical analysis, computational fluid dynamics, and finance mathematics. He teaches courses such as MAFS5040 Quantitative Methods for Fixed-Income Instruments and MATH2121 Linear Algebra. His academic work includes publications in journals such as Quantitative Finance, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, and International Journal of Theoretical and Applied Finance. He is also the author of several books and book chapters on interest rate modeling and financial mathematics.
