Regular biography
Prof. Yu MIN is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He obtained his Bachelor's Degree from Zhejiang University in 2016 and his Ph.D. from Sorbonne Université in 2020. From 2020 to 2022, he served as a postdoc at the Morningside Center of Mathematics, Beijing, and from 2022 to 2025, he was a research associate at Imperial College London. His research interests include p-adic Hodge theory. He teaches MATH3131 Honors in Linear and Abstract Algebra II. Prof. MIN has published several articles in leading mathematics journals, including the Journal of the European Mathematical Society, Mathematische Zeitschrift, Mathematische Annalen, and Advances in Mathematics.
