Prof. Fong, Tsz Ho is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He joined HKUST (his alma mater) as an Assistant Professor in July 2015. Prior to this, he taught at Brown University as a J. D. Tamarkin Assistant Professor from 2012 to 2015. Fong received his B.Sc. and M.Phil. in Mathematics from HKUST and his Ph.D. in Mathematics from Stanford University in 2012. His research interests include Differential Geometry, Geometric Analysis, Geometric Flows, and Complex Geometry. He has published extensively in these areas and has been recognized for his teaching, including the 2024 Michael G. Gale Medal for Distinguished Teaching.
