Regular biography
Dr Alice Collier is a Reader in Chemistry Education in the Department of Chemistry at King's College London. She graduated with an MChem in Analytical Chemistry from the University of East Anglia (UEA) in 2004 and completed a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry under the supervision of Dr Gerd Wagner at UEA. Her teaching experiences led her to a position as a senior demonstrator in the Pharmacy department at UEA before she joined King’s College London as a teaching fellow in 2011. As a Reader, she is interested in using videos and interactive online resources to enhance student learning. Her research interests include medicinal chemistry and chemical biology, particularly the synthesis of biological molecules as molecular probes.
