Regular biography
Dr Laila Abdullah is a Lecturer in the Department of Biology at King's College London. Her role as Teacher Development co-Lead involves recruiting, supporting, and delivering training events for KUMEC's network of GP tutors. She works closely with the MBBS S2Y2 GP longitudinal placement team and leads the SPIN programme within KUMEC. Her research interests include self-regulated learning, teaching through remote consulting, cultural competency, and assessment. She has completed an MSc in Health Professions Education and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
