Luisa Lambertini

Luisa Lambertini is a Professor at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, where she holds the Chair of International Finance. Her research focuses on the interaction of monetary and fiscal policies, introducing housing and mortgage default in macroeconomic models, and analyzing regulation and macro-prudential policies in models with financial institutions. She has worked with the European Central Bank, the Federal Reserve, and the Swiss National Bank. Her research has been published in prestigious journals such as the American Economic Review, the Review of Economic Studies, and the Journal of International Economics. She has held various leadership roles at EPFL and USI, including Associate Vice President for Postgraduate Education and Rector.
