Arjun Yodh

Arjun Yodh is James M. Skinner Professor of Science and Chair of the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Pennsylvania. His research interests span condensed matter physics, medical physics, biophysics, and optical sciences, with a focus on soft materials, optical microscopy, and biomedical optics. Yodh joined the University of Pennsylvania in 1988 and has held various leadership roles, including Director of The Laboratory for Research on the Structure of Matter (LRSM) and NSF-MRSEC from 2009 to 2020. He is also affiliated with multiple interdisciplinary institutes and holds a secondary appointment in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the Perelman School of Medicine.
