Dr Chris Mowat is a Senior Lecturer in Bioinorganic Chemistry and Director of Teaching at The University of Edinburgh, Department of Chemistry. His research focuses on redox proteins, protein crystallography, enzyme mechanisms, and bacterial respiration. Specific areas include enzymes of the kynurenine pathway, tetrathionate reductase, and interactions between sphaeroides heme protein and diheme cytochrome c.
