Regular biography
Professor Philip J Camp is a member of the School of Chemistry at The University of Edinburgh. His research focuses on the structure, dynamics, and phase equilibria of complex fluids, employing computational and theoretical techniques such as molecular dynamics simulations and statistical mechanics. His work explores systems including colloidal suspensions, ferrofluids, and amphiphilic molecules. He has collaborated with industrial partners since 2008, contributing to applications in energy, materials, and food sectors. His research group investigates the properties of soft matter and their real-world implications, combining computational models with experimental validation.
