Michael Cowley

Dr Michael Cowley is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry at The University of Edinburgh. His research focuses on low-valent main group chemistry, organometallic chemistry, and small molecule activation. Specific areas of interest include the development of heavy multiply bonded and/or aromatic compounds, their use in small molecule activation, and their coordination chemistry. His work explores novel bonding and structural characteristics, as well as new modes of reactivity. Dr Cowley's research has been published in several prestigious journals, including Angewandte Chemie, Nature Chemistry, and Organometallics.

Michael Cowley is a Professor of Main Group Chemistry at the University of Edinburgh, specializing in organometallic chemistry, main group chemistry, and inorganic chemistry.
