Equality and Diversity

Equality and Diversity is a key focus within the School of Chemistry at The University of Edinburgh. The School strives to provide an equitable work and study environment for all individuals at every level, recognizing the need for proactive approaches to achieve this goal. The Equality and Diversity Group is responsible for promoting and monitoring policies related to equality, diversity, and inclusion. The School is committed to implementing ten key principles through its Athena SWAN Charter, which is embedded in its culture and practices. The EDI Committee continues to engage in discussions on addressing issues such as Black Lives Matter within the School of Chemistry.
