The Edinburgh Single-Molecule Biophysics Laboratory is part of the School of Chemistry at The University of Edinburgh. The laboratory provides advanced imaging services for the visualisation and characterisation of individual molecules with high spatial resolution. It houses a range of single-molecule and super-resolution microscopes, including single-molecule confocal and TIRF microscopes, as well as an Oxford Nanoimager. The laboratory supports research in biomedical applications, including the analysis of molecules in human biofluids and tissue. Services include custom detection, data analysis, and visualisation using various software solutions.
