Ludovic Righetti

Ludovic Righetti is a Professor at the Tandon School of Engineering, New York University, jointly appointed in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department and the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department. He is also an International Chair at the Artificial and Natural Intelligence Toulouse Institute. His research focuses on the planning and control of movements for autonomous robots, particularly legged locomotion and manipulation. He leads the Machines in Motion Laboratory and is a member of several research centers, including the Center for Robotics and Embodied Intelligence. His work explores the intersection of decision-making, automatic control, optimization, and machine learning applied to physical systems.

Ludovic Righetti is a researcher in Robotics, focusing on the development of advanced control frameworks for legged locomotion and humanoid robots. His work includes the creation of the Crocoddyl framework for multi-contact optimal control and the design of torque-controlled modular robots for legged locomotion research.
