Qi Sun is an associate professor in the Department of Computer Science at New York University. His research focuses on perceptual computer graphics, generative models, neural representation, computational optics, and VR/AR. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Stony Brook University in 2018. Prior to joining NYU, he was a research scientist at Adobe Research. His work has been recognized with several best paper and honorable mention awards at major conferences such as ACM SIGGRAPH, IEEE ISMAR, IEEE VR, IEEE VIS, and ACM SAP.
