Kim, Woojin (김우진)

Woojin Kim is an Assistant Professor of Mathematical Sciences at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). He received his Ph.D. from The Ohio State University and previously served as a William W. Elliott Assistant Research Professor at Duke University. His research focuses on the theoretical and computational foundations of Topological Data Analysis (TDA), integrating concepts from algebraic and combinatorial topology, metric geometry, and computational geometry. Dr. Kim is actively involved in advancing the application of geometric and topological methods in data science and machine learning. He has contributed to several academic conferences and has been recognized for his teaching excellence at KAIST.
