Chung, Yeonseung (정연승)

Chung, Yeonseung (정연승) is a Professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). His research interests include environmental epidemiology, nonparametric and semiparametric Bayesian hierarchical models, and Bayesian spatio-temporal models. He is also involved in statistical applications in social science and epidemiology. Chung received his Ph.D. in Biostatistics from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and was a postdoctoral research fellow at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. His work focuses on the health effects of environmental exposure, such as climate change and air pollution.
