T. Kyle Vanderlick
Regular biography
T. Kyle Vanderlick is the Thomas E. Golden, Jr. Professor of Chemical & Environmental Engineering at Yale University's Department of Chemical & Environmental Engineering. His research focuses on the properties of synthetic and biological membranes, molecular engineering of structured surfaces and nanostructures, and adhesion and surface forces. Vanderlick's work includes studies on membrane morphology changes, hybrid vesicles, and DNA-functionalized vesicles. He has contributed to the understanding of membrane-bound ligand-receptor interactions and inter-membrane forces. His research has been published in journals such as Langmuir, Soft Matter, and the Biophysical Journal.
