David Kwabi is an Associate Professor of Chemical & Environmental Engineering at Yale University. His research focuses on electrochemical energy storage and conversion, carbon capture, and chemical separations. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT and a B.S.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Princeton University. Kwabi's work has been recognized with several awards, including the ASME Rising Star Award for Early Career Engineers (2024), Scialog Negative Emissions Fellow (2022), NSF CAREER Award (2021), and ASME Pi Tau Sigma Gold Medal (2020).
