Juliana Londoño-Vélez is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of California, Los Angeles. Her research primarily focuses on inequality and redistributive tax and transfer policies, with a special interest in developing countries. She received her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley in 2019. Her academic background includes an M.A. (2nd year) in Quantitative Economics from the Paris School of Economics and an M.A. (1st year) in Applied Economics from Universit´e Paris-Dauphine. She is also a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research.
