Regular biography
Felipe Goncalves is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of California, Los Angeles. His research applies tools from labor and public economics to understand issues in policing, crime, and education. He received a BA in economics-mathematics from Columbia University and a PhD in economics from Princeton University. Prior to joining UCLA, he worked at the New York Crime Lab as a postdoctoral fellow. His research areas include applied microeconomics and labor economics.
