Philip Loewen

Philip D. Loewen is a Faculty member in the Department of Mathematics at The University of British Columbia. He obtained a PhD in Mathematics from the University of British Columbia in 1986 and served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Centre de Recherches Mathematiques in Montreal and later at Imperial College in London. Currently, he specializes in the theory and applications of optimization, control, and nonsmooth analysis.
