Eric Cytrynbaum is a Faculty member in the Department of Mathematics at The University of British Columbia. He obtained a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Utah in 2001 and served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, Davis from 2002 to 2004. During this period, he spent a term at the Isaac Newton Institute for Mathematical Sciences at the University of Cambridge. Cytrynbaum has been affiliated with UBC since 2004 and is currently a Full Professor. His research interests focus on mathematical and computational modelling of cell and developmental biology and physiology.
