John Hepburn

John Hepburn is a Faculty member in the Department of Chemistry at The University of British Columbia. His research focuses on experimental techniques to study and control atomic and molecular dynamics using ultra-short laser pulses. His work includes quantum coherent control, photo-ionization, photo-fragmentation, and the use of lasers to investigate ion-pair molecular states, aerosol particles, and chemical reactions on solid surfaces. Hepburn's research has been published in several scientific journals, including Physical Review A, Journal of Chemical Physics, and Nature Physics. He is also affiliated with the Physics and Astronomy department at UBC.
