Regular biography
Tracey Gurton is a Full-time Lecturer at the UBC Sauder School of Business, specializing in Organizational Behaviour & Human Resources. She has been a faculty member at the University of British Columbia since 2002 and is recognized for teaching excellence. Gurton teaches full time in the MBA and BCOM programs and facilitates extensively in UBC Sauder’s Executive Education Division. Her subject areas include Organizational Culture, Leadership, Emotional Intelligence, Managing Change, Group Decision-Making, and Trust on Teams. She also accepts client engagements, delivering professional development programs to executives, managers, and groups within private companies and public organizations. In 2020, she received a Special Service Award for UBC Sauder’s exceptional transition to virtual classroom education during UBC’s COVID response.
