Swapnika Rachapalli

Swapnika Rachapalli is an Assistant Professor in the Strategy & Business Economics Division at the UBC Sauder School of Business. Her research focuses on International Trade, Innovation, Growth, and Development. She holds a BSc - MSc (Integrated) in Economics from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur and a PhD in Economics from the University of Toronto. Her work has been published in journals such as the American Economic Journal: Macroeconomics, the American Economic Association Papers and Proceedings, and the Journal of Monetary Economics. She teaches Managerial Economics in the 2025-2026 academic year.
