Sha Liao

Sha Liao is a Full-time Lecturer in the Department of BUS at The University of British Columbia. Their research interests include Operations Management, Stochastic Process, Sustainability, Game Theory, and Contract Theory. Liao holds a B.Math degree from Zhejiang and a Ph.D. in Operations Management from the UBC Sauder School of Business. They have published in journals such as Operations Research Letters and Transportation Research Part A: Policy and Practice. Their work has been recognized with a Best Paper Award at the 2021 International Conference on Transport and Logistics (ICCTL). Liao teaches courses such as Logistics and Operations Management, Business Analytics, and Business Statistics.
