Rajesh Vijayaraghavan is an Assistant Professor in the Accounting and Information Systems Division at The University of British Columbia Sauder School of Business. His research interests include accounting and risk management in financial institutions, disclosure, corporate governance and performance measurement, corporate finance, and applications of machine learning. He teaches courses such as Accounting for Managerial Control and Incentives and Foundations in Accounting I. His selected publications include work on permutations used for speech scrambling and directors’ perceptions of board effectiveness and internal operations.
