Michael Sullivan is an Assistant Professor at The University of British Columbia, Sauder School of Business, within the Strategy & Business Economics Division. His research interests include Industrial Organization, Economics of Platforms, and Health Economics. Sullivan holds a B.Sc. in Pure Mathematics and Economics from Memorial University of Newfoundland, and M.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D. in Economics from Yale University. His work has been published in the American Economic Journal: Microeconomics, including a 2026 paper on "Sources of Limited Consideration and Market Power in E-Commerce."
