Regular biography
YIN Xiang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Finance at Tsinghua University's School of Economics and Management. His research interests include Entrepreneurial Economics, Venture Capital and Private Equity, Spending and Financing of Local Government, and Big Data in Government. He holds a Ph.D. in Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science and previously earned an M.Phil. in Economic Theory and Econometrics from Toulouse School of Economics. YIN teaches courses such as Corporate Finance, Financial Institutions and Markets, and Empirical Corporate Finance. His work has been presented at various conferences, including the NBER SI Entrepreneurship, FMA, and HEC Paris Entrepreneurship events. He has also received awards such as the Industrial Securities Excellent Paper award and the 35th AFBC Bureau van Dijk Prize.
