Regular biography
YANG Zheyuan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Finance at Tsinghua University's School of Economics and Management. With a Ph.D. in Finance from London School of Economics and Political Science (2025), YANG specializes in Corporate Finance, Sustainable Finance, and Digital Finance. Their research explores how digital technologies and artificial intelligence impact firms' and financial intermediaries' information environments, decision-making, and risk exposure. YANG has published work on topics such as machine-readable reporting and corporate sustainability disclosure. They are also affiliated with Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School and teach courses including Principles of Finance, International Finance, and Frontier Topics in Finance II.
