Regular biography
XU Da is an Associate Professor in the Department of Accounting at Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management. His research focuses on areas such as financial accounting and generative AI. He holds a Ph.D. in Finance and Financial Accounting from Tulane University (2017-2022) and a Master of Accounting from Xiamen University (2016-2017). He has published in journals such as Harvard Business Review, Management Science, and Review of Accounting Studies. His work includes studies on CEO pay transparency, employee responses to CEO activism, and corporate responses to generative AI. He teaches courses such as Financial Accounting and Generative AI and Prompt Engineering.
