Regular biography
XIAO Xing is a Professor in the Department of Accounting at the School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University. She holds a Ph.D. in Accounting from Tsinghua University and has been affiliated with the university since 1997. Her research focuses on corporate finance, corporate governance, financial statement analysis, and earnings management. She teaches courses such as Financial Statement Analysis and Valuation, Accounting Theory, and Accounting and Capital Market. Her work has been published in journals like the Journal of Business Finance and Accounting, Management World, and The Accounting Review. She has also authored several books, including 'A Book to Read Financial Statements' and 'Xing Xiao’s Course on Financial Thinking'.
