Regular biography
WANG Kun is an Associate Professor (Tenured) in the Department of Accounting at the School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University. He holds a Ph.D. in Accounting from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a B.A. in Accounting from Nankai University. His research focuses on corporate governance, information disclosure, earnings management, and auditing. He has published extensively in journals such as the Review of Accounting Studies, Journal of Business, Finance and Accounting, and Auditing: A Journal of Practice and Theory. WANG also teaches courses in accounting, financial accounting, and auditing at both undergraduate and graduate levels. His work has been recognized with multiple teaching awards at Tsinghua University.
