Regular biography
PANG Jiaren is an Associate Professor in the Department of Finance at Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management. His research focuses on corporate finance, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets. He has published in leading journals such as the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Financial Management, and the Journal of Banking & Finance. His work explores topics including corporate cash holdings, tax enforcement, and the impact of financial markets on capital allocation. PANG holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis and has received several teaching awards at Tsinghua University.
