Regular biography
HE Ping is a Professor in the Department of Finance at the School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University. He is also the Associate Dean of the School. His research interests include banking and financial institutions, monetary policy, and macro-finance. HE has published extensively in leading journals such as the Journal of Financial Intermediation, Journal of Banking and Finance, and Review of Financial Studies. His work explores topics such as IPO pricing, government functions in capital markets, and the impact of financial regulations. HE holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and has been affiliated with Tsinghua University since 2017.
