Regular biography
Yijun QI is a Faculty member in the School of Life Sciences at Tsinghua University. His research focuses on RNA biology and epigenetics in plants, with specific interests in RNA regulation mechanisms, transgenerational epigenetic inheritance, and the role of RNA regulation and epigenetics in crop trait formation. He has contributed to significant studies on small RNA biogenesis, chromatin interactions, and DNA methylation in plants. His work has been published in prominent journals such as Nature Cell Biology, Nature Communications, and Molecular Cell. QI holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Zhejiang University and has held postdoctoral positions at The Ohio State University and Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory. He is currently affiliated with Tsinghua University's School of Life Sciences.
