Regular biography
Xuerui YANG is a Faculty member in the School of Life Sciences at Tsinghua University. Dr. YANG holds a Ph.D. and is currently a Professor. Their research interests include bioinformatics and RNA biology, with a focus on developing novel bioinformatics and artificial intelligence algorithms to study post-transcriptional RNA processing, translation, and non-coding RNA regulation. Their work involves the analysis of complex omics data to understand genetic information processing under physiological and pathological conditions. Selected publications include studies on m6A-modified cenRNA, spatial transcriptomics, and RNA-binding protein interactions.
